BISWANATH CHARIALI, Nov 20 - Sensation prevails at Borgang in Biswanath district after four bodies were recovered on the railway tracks near Sukansuti village this morning.

According to information, four boys of Rongagora line of the Borgang Tea Estate � Ganesh Munda (14), Ganesh Ghatowar (13), Suraj Gowala (16) and Bhagya Karmakar (14) � were knocked down by the Murkongselek-Kamakhya Intercity Express, killing them on the spot. Their bodies were found lying near the tracks.

The teenagers were reportedly taking rest near the tracks after enjoying the Kartik Puja mela held at Sangola near Borgang centre when the accident took place.

Biswanath Deputy Commissioner Asitaksha Chakravarty and Superintendent of Police Brajenjit Singha along with other officials rushed to the spot and took stock of the situation.

The district administration handed over an ex gratia of Rs 10,000 each to the families of the deceased on the spot for the time being.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal condoled the death of the teenagers and directed Irrigation Minister Ranjit Dutta to rush to Borgang. An amount of Rs 2 lakh each will be extended from the CM�s relief fund to the victims� families.
