GUWAHATI, Nov 30 - An FIR has been lodged with the Hatigaon police station by a victim of human trafficking alleging wrongful confinement in a house where she worked as a domestic help.
The complaint was lodged after she managed to escape from the clutches of the accused.
It has been alleged that her employers based in the Hatigaon locality were even trying to force her into prostitution. The accused could not be traced till the time of filing of this report although police has seized some incriminating documents from their house.
The complainant also alleged that many such girls were trafficked and pushed into flesh trade by the accused.
