GUWAHATI, Dec 6 - The All Guwahati Traders Association today organised an executive meeting to discuss issues like labour license, trade license etc.
All the members of the unit and chief convener of the All Assam Traders Association, Prantosh Roy were present on the occasion. Roy said that the labour registration fee is higher in Assam in comparison to several other states of the country. The association had asked the government to revise the rate in this regard several times but no action has been initiated yet, he said.
Several issues regarding renewing of trade licenses were also discussed in the meeting, Roy added.
