BAIHATA CHARIALI, June 30 - A species of Indian tortoise was recovered at Dihing Satra area under North Guwahati recently by some people there when they were going for morning walk. On the other hand, the public of Changsari recovered a python from a campus of a resident there. Later the public of North Guwahati and Changsari handed over the tortoise and the python to the Sila range Forest office and finally the Forest department set the tortoise free at the Saraighat Lake near the DC�s office at Amingaon and the python at Sila hill reserve forest.
