KOKRAJHAR, June 23 - The All Bodo Students� Union (ABSU) and All Assam Gorkha Students� Union (AGSU) on Thursday evening took out a huge torchlight rally in Kokrajhar town demanding immediate creation of Bodoland and Gorkhaland States.
The rally jointly organised by ABSU and AGSU, was supported by other groups like NDFB (P) and PJACBM.
A large number of ABSU, AGSU and other group supporters joined the rally with different posters, banners and shouting slogans on their demands. The rally started from Bodofa Children Park and ended at Pragati Bhaban in Kokrajhar town.
Kwrwmdao Wary, general secretary of ABSU, UPPL president UG Brahma, deputy chief convenor of PJACBM, Gorjan Mushahary, AGSU leaders Kiron Chetry, Rabi Pradhan, among others, also joined the rally.
