GUWAHATI, March 8 � The BJP, Guwahati City District Committee today took out a torchlight procession protesting the alleged government inaction in controlling the skyrocketing prices of all essential commodities including food items and demanding the resignation of the Tarun Gogoi Government.
The committee said that the ruling Congress governments, both in the State and the Centre, were indifferent towards the sufferings of the common consumers. The committee said that the Congress by choosing to ignore the issue of price rise was encouraging the unscrupulous traders.
