GUWAHATI, Nov 12 - The 6th Topcem Challenge Football Tournament kick-started today at the Mini Stadium, North Guwahati. The inaugural match was played between Karbi Anglong FC and Goreswar Gatsa. Goreswar Gatsa won the inaugural match by 2-0 goals.
Gigas Boro and Birgwn Boro of Goreswar Gatsa scored one goal each in the 35th minute and after the half time respectively. Mutunu of Karbi Anglong FC was adjudged as the best player of the match.
Altogether eight teams are taking part in the knock-out prize-money championship.
