GUWAHATI, April 10 - The Career Counselling and Placement Cell of Pragjyotish College organised a programme on how to face interviews for the students of various departments of the college recently in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Guwahati South, stated a press release here.
Around 70 students of various departments took part in the programme held at the Conference Hall of Tarini Kanta Barua Bhawan of the college.
Eminent resource persons Tarun Bardoloi, Jayanta Madhav Barua, Subhash Chandra Goswami and Swapanjyoti Sarma, who are all members of the Rotary Club of Guwahati South, addressed the students.
They spoke on the approach to prepare the curriculum vitae, on the need for a positive attitude, a positive body language and other motivational aspects elaborately. This was followed by an interactive session.
The resource persons were introduced to the students by Atanu Kumar Chowdhury, Head of the Department of Economics and also a member of the Rotary Club of Guwahati South. The resource persons were subsequently felicitated by the students.
Dr Runima Baishya, Head of the Department of Physics and convenor of the Career Counselling and Placement Cell of the college, offered the vote of thanks, the press release added.
