TINSUKIA, Jan 24 - The match between Tinsukia and Nazira of the ongoing Group �D� matches of the U-19 Inter District Cricket championship for the JK Baruah trophy organised by the Tinsukia District Sports Association (TDSA) under the aegis of Assam Cricket Association (ACA) being played at Katchujan field was evenly poised. In the first day today, Nazira opting to bat first after winning the toss was bundled out for a paltry total of 38 runs in 18.5 overs. Sekhar Goala and Gobin Dorjee of Tinsukia claimed 5 and 4 wickets giving away 12 runs in 10 overs and 26 runs in 8.5 overs respectively. In reply, Tinsukia managed 98 runs in 26.2 overs and ensuring a first innings lead of 60 runs over Nazira. Rajdeep Boruah claimed 8 wickets giving away 30 runs in his 11 overs. In the second innings Nazira was 117 for 5 in 40 overs when the stumps were drawn for the end of first day�s play. Nazira has a lead of 57 runs with 5 wickets remaining.
