GUWAHATI, Jan 17 � Tinsukia is tottering at 12 for three on the opening day of the three-day final match of the Nuruddin Ahmed Trophy Plate Group Senior Inter District Cricket Championship chasing Barpeta�s first innings total of 199.
At the Barsapara cricket stadium here today, Barpeta elected to bat first and with the help of Manash Das� 62 off 221 balls, 4x9, they built a fighting total in 102.2 overs.
Apart from Manash, Manoj Bayan (34) was the leading contributor for Barpeta. For Tinsukia, Bikash Chetry and Abhilash Gogoi shared five wickets each.
At stumps, Aransh Saikia and Abhilash Gogoi were batting with eight and one respectively.
