MANGALDAI, June 7 - Tinsukia will lock horns with Dibrugarh in the title clash of the Khirod Baruah Memorial 67th Senior Inter District Football Championship at Bhergaon in Udalguri district near here. In the first semifinal Tinsukia edged past spirited Kokrajhar by an aggregate of 6-5 goals via tie breaker after the match was ended in 2-2 draw. Parag Moran put Tinsukia ahead in the 6th minute while Dhrubajyoti Brahma equalized for Kokrajhar after three minutes. Kokrajhar went ahead in the 70th minute through Rakeb Basumatary but Pranjyoti Chutia fired the equaliser for Tinsukia in the 80th minute.
In the other semifinal Dibrugarh outplayed Karbi Anglong 3-0. Milan Basumatary (20th and 59th minutes) and Tulya Das (75th minute) were the goal scorers for Dibrugarh. The final match will be played on Sunday.
