TINSUKIA, Feb 5 � The Tinsukia district committee of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) released its election manifesto for the Tinsukia municipality area.
Releasing the manifesto, BJP district president Bhaben Sharma affirmed that the party has not released the manifesto only to woo the voters, but the party would definitely fulfil all the promises mentioned in the manifesto.
The promises include a corruption-free, clean governance, repair of all damaged roads and their regular maintenance, improvement of the sewage system using scientific methods, clearing of all roads and footpaths for easy movement of men and vehicles and to check accidents, setting up of a bio gas plant using waste, proper arrangements at all market places, supply of potable water, construction of multi-storied parking lot, development of playgrounds, installations of CCTV cameras, digital traffic points, construction of public toilets, extension of the municipal area, ban movement of illegal rickshaws and fix rates of rickshaws, regularise taxes, preservation of all historical sites, etc.
The function was also attended by the office-bearers of the Tinsukia Mandol Committee of the party.
