GUWAHATI, May 1 � Tinsukia dominated the second day of the 35th Inter District Senior and Junior Athletic Championship at Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium, Sarusajai here today.
Tinsukia bagged 12 gold six silver and four bronze medals while Guwahati are at the second position with eight gold, five silver and four bronze medals. Assam Police is standing at the third position with seven gold and one silver.
Debajit Bordoloi of Guwahati and Mina Deka of Assam Police became the fastest men and women of the meet respectively winning the 100m dash. In men�s triple jump local boy Anoj Bora took gold while policeman Bipul Deori won 400m gold.
