Threats issued by ultras flayed

By Correspondent

DIPHU, Jan 9 - The Nagarik Suraksha Mancha (NSM) has expressed serious concern and strongly condemned the statement of militant groups of the Kamatapur Liberation Organization (KLO), National Liberation Front (NLF) and the newly-formed Peoples Democratic Council of Karbi-Longri (PDCK) for threatening Hindi and Bengali-speaking people to leave Karbi Anglong, Kamatapur and Tripura by March 31.

While addressing a press conference at Kherani under Hamren subdivision of West Karbi Anglong, Shiv Narayan Paul, general secretary, NSM said that the three militant groups have targeted the innocent and peace-loving Hindi and Bengali speaking people without any valid reason.

The NSM leader alleged that the ultra organisations are making false propaganda against the innocent people. Meanwhile, Paul urged the three militant groups not to target innocent people but to fight with the Government for resolving their issues.
