Theft in Khetri High School

JORABAT, Sept 14 - Thieves broke into the Khetri High School under Khetri Police Station last night and decamped with a water pump set, an LPG cylinder and other property of the school. The miscreants also broke 14 locks of the school�s doors and almirahs.

According to the local people this was the eighth theft incident in the school. On earlier occasions computers, books, important papers and other property of the school were stolen, they said.

The Khetri High School is one of the oldest schools in Dimoria region and regular incidents of theft have upset the local people. Dimoria AASU unit president Jayanta Kalita condemned the incident and demanded that the police take necessary steps to arrest the culprits.

A case has been registered by the police and preliminary investigation is on.
