The Assam Tribune to launch Heal the World digital music series on April 26

GUWAHATI, April 23 - To keep people�s spirits high amidst the prevailing gloom induced by the COVID-19 pandemic, The Assam Tribune is launching a new music series, Heal the World, which will be beamed live from its official Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/TheAssamTribune) on April 26 at 7 pm.

This digital music series will give readers an opportunity to experience the best of Indian music from the comfort of their living rooms.

The live video will remain on the site for viewers to access even after the session has ended, and the link can be shared across platforms.

Artistes shall appear in their real avatars at home and the experience is expected to be highly enriching for the audience.

The artiste for the inaugural concert is Mumbai-based Sunita Khaund Bhuyan, who will present Songs of Spring � a folk fusion duet with pianist Ronojit Bhuyan � to celebrate the spring season and spread happiness and positivity among people amidst the pandemic.

Daughter of violinist Minoti Khaund, Sunita Khaund Bhuyan is a renowned violinist who plays Assamese folk music on the violin, infusing Scottish and Irish folk elements.

She is also a well-known leadership trainer, who uses music as a structured tool for leadership and change intervention for corporate and business schools across the world. Ronojit Bhuyan, her son, is also an accomplished western classical pianist in his own right.
