Tezu College gets NAAC�s B++ grade

ITANAGAR, Nov 7 - Indira Gandhi Government College, Tezu in Lohit district of Arunachal Pradesh has been awarded with B++ grade by the Bangalore-based National Assessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC), an autonomous body under the University Grants Commission (UGC) that assesses and accredits the institutions of higher education in the country.

While informing this, an official from Lohit district administration said that a three-member NAAC team headed by Prof P Nag, VC of Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth, Varanasi, Prof N Panchanatham of Annamalai University and Dr A Gogoi of Duliajan College assessed the College during their October 6-8 visit.

In 2007, the College was awarded with B+ grade by NAAC.
