BARPETA, Sept 15 - Amidst uncertainty of regularisation and even existence of service, a young TET teacher of Chenga Education Block committed suicide on Saturday afternoon.
Dharmendra Medhi (29), son of Girin Medhi, a resident of Kalitapara at Bahari in Barpeta district and a working teacher of 925 No. Malipara LP School under Chenga Education Block in the district ended his life by hanging in his own house.
The death of the meritorious youth who was loved by all for his amiable, soft spoken and serious nature has spread a pall of gloom in the locality. Dharmendra leaves behind him his parents and three married sisters.
