TET-qualified teacher trainees given farewell

GOLAGHAT, May 19 � The TET-qualified teacher trainees, who appeared in the Second Year Final Examination, 2015 under the KKHSOU at the Golaghat DR College Study Centre, were given a farewell on Sunday.

A meeting was held on the occasion, which was presided over by Upen Dutta, senior journalist and educationist. All the teacher trainees were present on the occasion.

The welcome address was delivered by Dr Bipul Kumar Bhuyan, coordinator of the DR College Study Centre under the KKHSOU. The meeting was addressed by Wakidul Hussain, counsellor, Debojit Barua, Dr D Dutta, Aruna Dutta Gogoi, professor, PGTC, Jorhat, Padmawati Bora, headmaster, KKBB, Prof Bijit Saikia and Mukta Mala Barua, counsellor.

The speakers underlined the significance of becoming trained teachers to develop skills and teach pupils.

The meeting was addressed by Prabin Choudhury, Education Officer, Golaghat SSA. He highlighted the ethics and accountability of teachers in the teaching-learning process.

The teacher trainees who addressed the meeting were Bijit Das, Ananta Saikia, Hemanta Das, Nizora Deka, Bipul Das and Rima Barua. Bandana Borpatra and Dipsikha Konwar presented modern songs. Mintu Das read out a self-composed poem.

Earlier, Bijit Sankar Bharali stated the objectives of the meeting. Rima Barua offered the vote of thanks.
