GUWAHATI, March 13 � The bust of Sahityaratna Harinarayan Duttabarua was unveiled by the Asam Sahitya Sabha president Rong Bong Terang on the District Library premises today.
The programme organised by the Harinarayan Duttabarua Memorial Trust and the Asam Sahitya Sabha was presided over by noted journalist Radhikamohan Bhagawati.
Speaking on the occasion, the Sabha president recalled Duttabaruah�s contributions towards the revival of Vaishnavite literature. �A versatile personality, Duttabarua was an able teacher, publisher, writer and his love for the Assamese people, culture and literature was reflected in his works,� Terang said.
