GUWAHATI, Nov 13 � Asam Sahitya Sabha president Rong Bong Terang was elected as the State�s apex literary body�s head for a second successive term today.
Bhupen Saikia and Dr Paramananda Rajbangshi were elected vice-president and general secretary, respectively.
Terang polled 344 votes while his nearest competitor Ambikacharan Choudhury got 94, followed by Narayan Chandra Goswami and Pachu Gopal Chakravarty with 88 each.
