TURA, July 17 - The All Garo Hills SSA School Teachers� Association has demanded immediate release of their pending salaries, failing which the association has threatened to launch an agitation.
�We have demanded immediate release of our pending salaries and arrears. We have been suffering a lot due to non-payment of salaries,� said the teachers� body president, SB Sangma.
�The State Government has accorded top priority to education, but our salaries are yet to be released,� Sangma alleged. The teachers also demanded release of their pending arrears soon.
�If the Government fails to meet our demand, we will launch an agitation all over Garo Hills,� Sangma said.
