MAJULI, April 7 - A delegation of the Non-provincialised Teachers� Association of Majuli district met Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal at Letekupukhuri of Lakhimpur district, the birthplace of Mahapurush Madhavdeva, where he came to attend a programme.
The delegation, including its president Arup Saikia, vice-president Kosheswar Sekanidhara, secretary Bipul Saikia, assistant secretary Ranjit Barua and members Tarun Nath and Sisupal Mili submitted a memorandum regarding their demands to the Chief Minister.
�It will not be possible to provincialised all the non-provincialised institutions of the State at one go. But we will provincialise them one by one within the term of our government,� Sonowal told the delegation.
