DERGAON, Sept 6 - The 58th Teachers� Day was celebrated with a difference at Dergaon Girls� Higher Secondary School on Thursday.
On the occasion, the students published 12 handwritten magazines, each from the 12 classes of the school. The magazines published on the day were formally released by retired teachers of the school.
The magazines published on the day are Diptiman (Class VI-A edited by Rasmi Singha), Jyotiska (Class VI-B edited by Pranpriya Das and Kristi Bhagawati), Maitreyee (Class VII-A edited by Antaripa Dutta and Devashree Hazarika), Hepahor Khoj (Class VII-B edited by Sohana Swabnam), Unmesh (Class VIII-A edited by Sanskriti Pathak and Niharika Goswami), Alok Yatra (Class VIII-B edited by Susmita Bora), Alok Sandhani (Class IX-A edited by Priyanka Bora and Prastuti Priya Bora), Sadhana (Class IX-B edited by Nur Warisa Hussain and Amayika Bora), Poohar (Class X-A edited by Prastiti Bora, Jahnabi Chutia and Khusbu Das), Prayash (Class X-B edited by Prerana Nath), Dapoon (Class XI edited by Salma Sultana and Bichitra Bora) and Anubhav (Class XII edited by Jerifa Sultana).
The innovative effort to mark the special day by the students was praised by all.
