GUWAHATI, Nov 1 - The State Education Department will complete the entire process of appointment of teachers within December next, said an official press release here.
According to the release, the Department has completed the district level screening of cases of the teachers whose appointments were alleged to be irregular.
It has received the information on the 12,054 applicants from the zonal commissioners and basing on these information, the Department has prepared separate lists for each of the districts and these lists are being examined for sending them to the Judicial and Finance Departments.
The lists would be sent to the Judicial Department on November 10 for its opinion and after getting its opinion, the lists would be sent to the Finance Department.
The opinions of the Judicial and Finance Departments would be placed before the State Cabinet in the month of November and the entire process would be completed within the month of December, said the press release.
