DOOMDOOMA, April 5 - A bilateral discussion on various grievances of the workers of various tea gardens of James Warren Tea Ltd was held between the officials of the tea company and representatives of Asom Chah Karmachari Sangha (ACKS) at Doomdooma branch ACKS office recently.
After detailed discussion on the grievances of the workers, the company officials promised to solve most of them within June this year while for the remaining demands the company authority promised to sit for further discussion.
During the discussion, the company was represented by the visiting agent, the assistant visiting agent and managers of the tea gardens of the company in Assam.
On the other hand, the workers were represented by the central general secretary of ACKS Girish Chandra Borpatragohain, Tingrai branch secretary Rishabh Kalita and Moran branch secretary Mohini Mohan Ligira.
