GUWAHATI, March 4 � A delegation from the Tax Bar Association, Guwahati today met the Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi to discuss various issues related to revenue matters.
The delegation comprised the association president OP Rathi, members VK Chopra, MC Betala, Saurabh Agarwal, Dinesh Sarma and Manoj Sarma. The delegation submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister, forwarding their various suggestions.
On the occasion, Tax Samachar, the journal of the Tax Bar Association, Guwahati was released by the Chief Minister.
VK Chopra, editor-in-chief of the journal explained the main contents of the Tax Samachar which includes Union Budget 2010-11. Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth Activities Bharat Narah was also present on the occasion, a press released mentioned.
