KOKRAJHAR, May 7 - The Task Force under Kokrajhar Police today apprehended six Bangladeshi nationals from Gossaigaon subdivision in Kokrajhar district, who were declared as illegal Bangladeshi migrants by the Foreigners Tribunal in Kokrajhar in the year 2006 and 2011 respectively.
Talking to media persons DSP Border, Kokrajhar Sorab Ali informed that these persons� three males and three females were found missing after being declared as illegal migrants in Kokrajhar district and the police were searching them since long. The persons were identified as Md Samad Fakir, Md Tasan Ali Sk, Promod Das, Shyama Das, Majiron Bibi and Rohiton Bibi, he said.
The DSP has also informed that as many as 706 persons have been declared as illegal migrants by the Foreigners Tribunal in Kokrajhar so far and ten Task Forces have been constituted by the Kokrajhar police to apprehend the declared illegal foreigners in Kokrajhar.
