GUWAHATI, Oct 11 � Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi today celebrated his 77th birthday. A stream of visitors poured into the Chief Minister�s official residence at Khanapara in the morning to greet him on the occasion.
Revenue & Disaster Management Minister Dr Bhumidhar Barman was the first among others to convey his wishes to the Chief Minister.
Chief Minister Gogoi thanked everyone who sent him warm wishes on his birthday. �I appreciate the birthday wishes I have received thus far. Thank you everyone for the kind and warm greetings,� said a beaming Gogoi, according to an official press release.
Gogoi was born on October 11, 1934 at Rongajan in Jorhat.
