GUWAHATI, Oct 26 - Former Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi, who was discharged from the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) on Sunday, is now stable but under medical supervision at his official residence here.
A team of doctors and nurses is monitoring Gogois health at his official residence. He is now stable. However, Gogoi will need rest for another month or so. He still cannot walk properly without aid but otherwise his mind and faculties are sharp, a senior Congress party leader said.
He said that barring family members and medical personnel, no other visitors are allowed to meet the former Chief Minister.
Gogoi was admitted to the GMCH on August 26 after he tested positive for COVID-19.
