GUWAHATI, July 17 - Fourth seed Tanisha Kashyap of Assam lifted the girls U-14 singles title with an upset 6-3, 6-4 victory against second seed Sania Singh of Maharashtra in the OIL-AITA Super Series Tennis Tournament at the All Assam Tennis Association (AATA) complex, Chachal here today.
In the Boys U-12 doubles Udit Gogoi of Assam partnering with Amrutjoy Mohanty of Orissa lifted the crown defeating Hasith Sujan and Aman Dahiya of Delhi 7-5, 6-1.
The ATTA secretary Ankush Dutta informed that the qualifying round matches of the next OIL-AITA Super Series Tennis Tournament for boys and girls U-14 and 16 years will start from tomorrow. The main round matches will start from 20th July 20 and the finals are slated for July24.
