GUWAHATI, Oct 5 - Assam girl Tanisha Kashyap secured her place in the U-18 singles quarterfinals of the Fenesta Open National Tennis Championship defeating second seeded Vaidehi Choudhari of Gujarat 7-5, 6-2 at the Delhi Lawn Tennis Association (DLTA) Complex in New Delhi while she along with her partner Sarvya Shivani of Telengana ensured their place in the doubles semifinals.
Tanisha will play against Sai Deedipiya of Telengana in the quarterfinal on Thursday.
In the doubles event, the duo defeated Avanthika and Advita 6-3, 6-1 to enter the semifinal.
