GUWAHATI, Aug 19 - Assam girl Tanisha Kashyap was awarded �Most Promising Player� in the U-18 National Tennis Championship which was held from August 14 to 19 in Chennai.
Tanisha went down in the semifinal to Shivani Manjana of Karnataka in a gruelling three setter with a score of 6-2, 6-7, 1-6.
Earlier, she clinched both singles and doubles titles in the U-16 nationals which was held in Pune in May this year. Tanisha was also U-14 singles national champion in 2015.
