KALAIGAON, April 6 - People from across the country are fighting against spread of COVID-19 and have been responding to the government�s call to donate funds.
A minor boy from Tangla has led by example by donating his piggy bank to the government fund.
Shivam Jyoti Das, a student of Class 6 of Arunodoi Academy, Tangla visited Rituttam Bora, Circle Officer of Harisinga Revenue Circle, Tangla on Monday, and expressed his desire to handover his piggy bank money to the Assam Arogya Nidhi fund.
He said he would be happy to see his money being spent for the cause of fighting COVID-19 and to support people are suffering during the lockdown period. Circle Officer Bora thanked the boy and appealed to the people to donate as much as they can for supporting the cause.
