GUWAHATI, March 20 - City Cricket Club will lock horns with their coaching team, City Cricket Coaching Centre, for the title in the Golap Hazarika and Arati Hazarika Memorial T20 Cricket Tournament at the Judges� Field here tomorrow.
In two semifinals played today, the coaching boys posted a narrow 8-run victory against Ankurjyoti Club while the City CC prevailed over Gauhati Town Club (GTC) by four wickets.
Riding on a 51-ball 86 by Man-of-the-Match Saahil Jain, coaching team gathered 141 and later forced the Ankurjyoti team to fold their innings at 133 for eight.
In the second semifinal GTC set a stiff target of 150 for City CC where Amit Boro, 51 off 30 deliveries, was the leading scorer. But Man-of-the-Match Rahul Hazarika 73 off 61 balls made the task easy for City CC as they crossed the total in the final over losing six wickets.
