IMPHAL, Dec 17 - Thounaojam Strela was crowned Miss Manipur 2017 at Bhagyachandra Open Air Theatre here on Saturday night.
She bagged the title defeating 16 other contestants who competed for the coveted title in three rounds � traditional, casual and evening.
A brief written examination decided the top three including Priyanka Gotimayum and Konthoujam Mangal Chanu who bagged the first and second runner up titles of the beauty contest.
The three top beauties went home richer with cash prize of Rs 80,000, Rs 60,000 and Rs 40,000.
