GUWAHATI, July 6 - A symposium on �Problems and Prospects of Auction of Small Oilfields in Assam� will be held on July 12 at the Guwahati Press Club from 10.30 am.
The symposium is being organised by the North East Unity Forum in collaboration with the North East Citizens Initiative for Peace and Development. Several organisations and experts in the field have been invited for participation. The organisers have also appealed to all citizens and associations to attend the same and present their views.
The recommendations presented at the symposium will be submitted to the Prime Minister, the Petroleum Minister , the Government of Assam and all other departments and agencies concerned.
