SYDNEY, Oct 4: A United Airlines flight landed safely at Sydney Airport on Thursday after issuing a mayday call due to low fuel reserves, authorities said.
Flight UA839, carrying 194 people, had been on a 15-hour flight to the city from Los Angeles, the BBC reported.
The police said they activated a "full emergency response" shortly before the plane landed at 6.36 a.m.
