GUWAHATI, May 23 � Assam Swimming Association (ASA) general secretary Uttam Das, in a press release revealed that Swimming Federation of India (SFI) general secretary Virendra Nanavati intimated Captain Robin Bordoloi on April 6 that the SFI cannot take cognigence of any meeting convened by Bordoloi and his associates.
The release also stated that the organisation, where Bhaskar Das is the general secretary, has no authority to use the official stationary of the Assam Swimming Association after having lost in the suit for setting aside the ex-parte decree was dismissed on withdrawal and the decree passed in the title suit No. 329/06 stands and no appeal has been filed by the petitioner against the said decree, which is nothing but a criminal offence.
Uttam Das further mentioned that the inter district aquatic meet with Bhaskar Das as organising secretary, scheduled to be held from May 28 to 30, is not valid.
