SILCHAR, July 10 - Along with the rest of the country, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) at Silchar Airport celebrated its golden jubilee year of establishment.
In a release issued to the media by the CISF unit at Silchar Airport, the milestone year is being celebrated amidst various events like blood donation, awareness meetings on breast cancer, sports and cultural activities, and motivational talks by eminent speakers.
�We have undertaken a year-long schedule to mark the occasion and we shall reach out to the people with awareness messages on various relevant issues of public safety,� a senior official of the CISF said.
As a part of the celebrations, the Swarna Jayanti Udyan was inaugurated by Airport Director CL Indi at the airport residential colony along with OSD to the Airport Director Arnab Kumar Das, Chief Airport Security Officer Naresh Joshi and other distinguished personalities.
