GUWAHATI, May 19 � Employees Association, Mahila Samakhya, Assam unit has extended support to the dharna by the Employees Association of Mahila Samakhya, India scheduled for May 20 at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi.
The protest programme is being taken up demanding immediate decision to continue Mahila Samakhya scheme into the 12th Plan, urgent revision of honorariums of Mahila Samakhya employees and make provisions for social security benefits like EPF, medical, etc, and expansion of Mahila Samakhya programme in all the districts of 11 states where it is being implemented.
