GUWAHATI, Aug 13 � Displaying a neat and well planned game, Sunrise Athletic Club edged past Dynamo Club 2-1 in today�s RG Baruah GSA Super Division Football League encounter.
In the close match at the Nehru Stadium here, all the goals were scored in the first session. More interestingly, all the goals came within seven minutes of the match and in the remaining part, despite using all kind of tactics, no team could break into opponent�s fort.
Midfielder Gyneswar Singh was the hero for Sunrise as he netted both the goals for his team.
Gyneswar struck in the very third minute of the match capitalising a misunderstanding among the Dynamo defenders. But their jubilation was short-lived as Oneybi Nandos Ogboma restored parity after two minutes.
In the seventh minute, Sunrise earned a spot kick when their frontliner Jibeswar Boro was brought down by Dynamo defender Sapan Dhar inside the box. Gyneswar beat Dynamo goalkeeper Mantu Mallick with a neat placement.
