MORIGAON, Sept 27 - Sunrise Athletic Club, Guwahati entered the final of the 46th Motiram Bora Football Tournament with a 2-1 victory against Sonaipariya Football Club, Morigaon in the first semifinal here at the Khirod Baruah Stadium today.
In the exciting encounter Joseph Ali of Sonaipariya FC netted the first goal in the 26th minute with a solo effort. But Sunrise boys exerted pressure after the breather and equalised the score line through Maneswar Mushahary in the 56th minute. Finally it was Rakesh Das of Sunrise who fired the match winner in the 67th minute.
