Suklabaidya, Ranjit Dass visit Dulal Chandra Pal�s residence

TEZPUR, Oct 19 - State Minister of Fisheries, Parimal Suklabaidya and State BJP president Ranjit Dass visited the residence of Late Dulal Chandra Pal at Dhekiajuli Alichinga area today.

It is to be mentioned here that Dulal Chandra Pal was in the detention camp at the Central jail here on charges of illegally staying on Indian soil and following some ailment, he died at the GMCH a week ago. However, the family members of Late Dulal Chandra Paul refused to receive his body alleging the government�s improper handling of the foreigners� issue. Late Dulal Chandra Paul had to go to jail and ultimately he died there.

Meanwhile, though representatives from different organisations including the Congress have already visited the victim�s family, as representation from the government or the BJP six days after the incident, Minister Parimal Suklabaidya and Ranjit Dass today visited the residence of the victim�s family at Alichinga area near Dhekiajuli in Sonitpur district and took stock of the situation. Besides other help, the two ministers also assured the family to provide necessary legal aid.

Prior to it the two ministers had a closed door meeting with the Inspector General (Jail) Barnali Sharma on Friday evening at the Circuit House here to discuss about the matter.
