GUWAHATI, April 16 - The Socialist Unity Centre of India (Communist), Assam State Committee observed protest day in several districts of the State on April 15 against the US strike on Syria.
The Kamrup Metro committee of the Centre organised a protest demonstration near Ulubari overbridge shouting slogan against �American imperialism� and asking people to unite against the strike.
An effigy of US President Donald Trump was also burned on the occasion.
Other than Guwahati, protests were organised in Silchar, Nalbari, Tezpur, Mankachar, Lakhimpur, Karimganj, Mangaldai and other places.
