SILAPATHAR, Jan 23 - The 122nd birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose was celebrated with a three-day-long programme on January 21, 22 and 23 at the Bhairabpur Netaji ME and Sila Bhairabpur LP school premises. The Dhemaji district and Sila Bhairabpur Anchalik Bengali Youth Students� Federation were also reconstituted in the 7th biennial conference held during the programme.
On the third day, the programme began with a cleanliness drive. The flag was hoisted by retired teacher Gopal Ch Dev. The Azad Hind Fauj flag was also hoisted on the occasion. The open session was presided over by Rajendra Nath, president of the reception committee. Khirod Devnath, founder president of Dhemaji district unit of the body delivered a speech as the appointed speaker. The meeting was attended and speeches given by the state committee secretary Nirmal Kanti Sheel, vice-president Dhananjay Nath, vice president Rabindra Deb Nath, secretary of Bengali Jatiya Parishad Rajkumar Biswas etc.
The Dhemaji district Bengali Youth Students Federation was reconstituted with Biplov Das as president, Kala Debnath as working president, Dipak Das as vice president, Sanjoy Ray as general secretary, Mahadev Das as joint secretary and Sunil Debnath as publicity secretary.
The Sila Bhairabpur Anchalik Committee was reconstituted with Bhadra Das as president, Subal Nath as working president, Arjun Das, Biswajit Das and Babul Das as vice presidents, and Chandan Das as general secretary.
