GUWAHATI, May 16 - The 39-member Assam Karate team of United Karate-Do Association, Assam (UKAA) will leave for New Delhi tomorrow to take part in the of KAI National Sub-Junior, Cadet, Junior and U-21 Karate Championship to be held at Talkatora Indoor Stadium. The Indian teams for the Asian Cadet, Junior and U-21 Karate Championship, to be held in Indonesia will be picked from the national meet.

The State team is included 14 sub-junior (8-13 yrs) boys and girls, nine cadet (14-15 yrs) male and female, 10 nos junior (16-17 yrs) and six U-21 (18-20 yrs) male and female players. The UKAA has nominated Hemanta Das as the coach and Nagen Bongjang, Dipak Jain and Hasmat Ali as technical officials for the championship. Bulbul Basumatary and Ananta Changmai will appear in KAI coaches examination to be held on May 19.
