IMPHAL, May 31 - The Zeliangrong students� community of Shillong expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Minister Awangbou Newmai, MLA Samuel Jendai, Deputy Commissioner of Tamenglong Armstong Pame �for arranging the evacuation of stranded students from Shillong on May 14�.
In a press note, the students� body said that not only did they arrange the evacuation but they also borne all the expenses including food on the way. �We also express our gratitude to Namsinrei Panmei,
chairman, Tamenglong Autonomous District Council and his team of Members of District Council for ensuring that all necessities were met during the quarantine�, the students� body added.
