GUWAHATI, July 31 - Four city-based students on Thursday distributed relief items among the flood-affected people in Chandrapur and Dimoria localities under the guidance of Dr Putul Sarma.
The students � Raktim Sarma, Risha Goswami, Abhishek Goswami and Prateek Phukan � raised the fund through an online platform.
The Chandrapur Anchalik Chatra Santha, Chandrapur Adhyayan Chakra and Pragatisil Yuva Mancha, Borbila, helped them in the relief distribution.
Students of Gauhati University (GU), too, are working among the flood-affected people in their respective areas. Recently, a group of GU students, including Nitul Kalita, Sailen Kalita, Dhrubajyoti Kalita, Darshana Sarma, Nipjyoti Kalita, Dhanmani Kalita, Bhaskar Rajbongshi, Nabanita Kalita, Jintu Sarma and Uddipta Das, distributed relief among the flood-hit people of Rangiya.
