Students bring laurels to APS Shillong

SHILLONG, May 6 - The students of Army Public School Shillong have shown excellent results in the All India Secondary School Examination 2019 conducted by CBSE, the results of which was declared on Monday.

Out of 69 students who appeared for the examinations this year, 22 students secured 90 per cent and above marks in aggregate. Swapnil Mishra topped the school with 98 per cent marks; Jahnavi Singh secured second position with 97 per cent marks; and Akanksha Gusain shared the third position with Manasi Rajput by scoring 96.4 per cent marks.

Further, Akanksha Gusain scored 100 in Social Science, two students scored 99 in Mathematics, one scored 99 in Science, four students scored 99 in Social Science and six scored 99 in Hindi. Altogether 39 students of the school scored 90 per cent and above in Hindi, 36 scored 90 per cent and above in English and Social Science, 18 students scored 90 per cent and above in Mathematics and Science.
